Air Ambulance Foundation to launch first multi-million pound campaign
The Foundation will be working with Cascaid Consulting, a division of the Cascaid Group, which has been exclusively appointed to develop the major gift fundraising strategy.
The Air Ambulance Foundation (AAF) will focus on three prime sources of income: large donations from wealthy individuals, national companies and major trusts and foundations.
Stewart Crocker, managing director of Cascaid Consulting explained, “Through our ‘Constellations’ prospect research service, we have already identified over 70 people who match our criteria for the capacity and propensity to make six figure gifts for the air ambulance service. On the strength of these we are now beginning the cultivation phase, to recruit the Campaign Committee and to secure the lead gifts. In parallel we are researching and developing a trusts and foundations approach strategy.”

Since its launch in February 2003, the Air Ambulance Foundation has been actively pursuing national fundraising opportunities -its remit is to raise money at a national level in support of the 15 regional air ambulances across the UK. Corporate partnerships are also being established and international pharmaceutical company Pfizer has already nominated the Air Ambulance Foundation as one of its charity partners.
