OfficeTeam donate over £6K to Breast Cancer Care

OfficeTeam, the provider of specialised administrative personnel, has donated £6,064.79 to Breast Cancer Care, its corporate charity of the year.

OfficeTeam has run a number of national and local initiatives to raise money for the charity. The key nationwide campaign, called “Hired to Help”, has meant that both clients and candidates play a role in raising money for Breast Cancer Care. As part of this initiative OfficeTeam donated £1 to Breast Cancer Care for each candidate placed. In addition to the nationwide campaign, OfficeTeam sponsored a table at the Breast Cancer Care fashion show on 9 October 2002, and invited clients who were encouraged to make donations at the exclusive event.

Local offices have also played an active role in raising money by placing donation boxes, raffles and pink ribbon pins in every reception. Some local offices have undertaken more unusual fundraising initiatives including a football tournament in Bristol, a sponsored walk in Southampton, and all OfficeTeam employees in the Guildford office raised money by wearing pink towels for a day.
