Twenty two radio stations across the UK owned by Radio Investments are calling on local businesses to take part in ‘Bring a £1 to Work Day’ to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief on 19 June 2003.

The stations have a combined listenership of 3 million people. They include Minster FM, Silk FM, Central FM, Arrow FM and Spire FM.

Radio presenters will encourage businesses to ask their employees to bring in a £1 coin to work. By participating in the event, companies might receive a visit from a roving repporter and a Macmillan staff member to collect the donations in person.
