WWF’s Panda Passport and Justgiving are commended by the judges.

The winners of the New Statesman’s New Media Awards 2002 have been announced. Non-profit sector Web sites have performed particularly well.

The Overall Merit Award went to Ninelives, a campaign to promote sustainable lifestyles in the city of Brighton & Hove.

Online donations service Justgiving.com and the WWF’s Panda P@ssport online campaigning tool were both commended in the Advocacy Award category.

Cheslyn Hay Primary School was commended in the Education Award category, and Brookman’s Park community newsletter was commended in the Online Community Award category.
