Amnesty's torture campaign to support WAP

Amnesty International’s Campaign Against Torture will begin on 18 October. It has set up a dedicated Web site for the campaign at www.stoptorture.org and will for the first time offer alerts to WAP ‘phones.

The main AI site, according to .net magazine, “receives more than five million hits each month.” If this is “page impressions” rather than the meaningless “hits” then their site is doing remarkably well.
