People with disabilities use the Web in large numbers, so why do so many Web site owners, including charities, make it so difficult for them to use their sites? As well as restricting the number of supporters or customers who can access the site, such organisations might also fall foul of the law, both in the US and UK. In the USA, for example, the National Federation of the Blind sued America Online Inc. for “failing to provide access to its site for the disabled.”
