Winner announced of site design competition for cancer charity site
Last month Internet magazine set up a design challenge to let three Web design agencies create an effective site design for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
You can view the efforts of port80, Domino, and Sm@rtNet at Direct Connection [original link to mariecurie.dircon.co.uk] Port80 won the challenge, and will work on a no-charge basis with the charity until at least the end of 1998.
A review of the new sites in Internet magazine in December 1997 (p.122) made no mention at all of the site functioning as a fundraising tool.
