Easyfundraising

Fundraising website easyfundraising, where shoppers generate free donations to the good cause of their choice when shopping with over 500 retailers, has processed £350,000 in donations for good causes since the company’s launch in October 2006. The site has raised over £80,000 for good causes since January this year.

Shoppers generate donations of up to 15% of the purchase price for their chosen cause simply by using the links provided on the easyfundraising site. Retailers include M&S, Amazon, NEXT, Boots, eBay, Dell, Woolworths, Direct Line, Screwfix, Interflora, Staples, and Expedia.

Becky Coleman, spokesperson for easyfundraising, said: "At a time when the economic climate is uncertain and many charities and good causes suffer as people tighten their belts, our site offers them a lifeline. Their members and supporters don’t need to dig deep to donate, but merely shop online for their everyday products such as books, clothing, food, toys, travel, and even insurance, and every purchase they make through the easyfundraising site will benefit a cause close to their heart."
