New Chief Executive at Arts & Business Scotland
David Watt has been appointed as the new Chief Executive at Arts & Business Scotland, succeeding Barclay Price who is retiring. He joins from the Glasgow Sculpture Studios where he is Director.
At Glasgow Sculpture Studios he led a successful capital appeal, creating partnerships with the corporate, public and arts sectors. The result was The Whisky Bond, a new home for the Studios at Spiers Locks, close to the National Theatre of Scotland, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Scottish Opera and The Glue Factory.
Watt will take up the post at the end of April.
