Stuart Glen to become Fundraising Manager with Kilbryde Hospice

Stuart Glen is leaving his position as Director of Fundraising with animal charity OneKind after nearly three years in post. From 11 July he will take up the role of Fundraising Manager with Kilbryde Hospice.
Stuart is Chair of the Institute of Fundraising (Scotland) Professional Development Committee and a member of the Institute of Fundraising (Scotland) Executive Committee. He has more than 10 years experience in the sector, having previously worked as Membership Development Manager and Membership and Marketing Manager with Scottish Wildlife Trust.
He was the first fundraiser employed in OneKind’s 100 year history, which until then had survived solely on legacy income. He successfully diversified the charity’s income stream, maintaining his focus on individual giving but also expanding to include trusts and foundations, corporate and major donor fundraising, and building it a high profile as a creative user of digital media.
He told UK Fundraising: “These are thrilling times for Kilbryde Hospice. The new Kilbryde Hospice is fast becoming a reality with building works due to begin later in the year. It is exciting to be part of something so obviously deep-rooted in the local community.”
