Supporter Services Forum established to share best practice
THINK Consulting Solutions is launching a Supporter Services Forum to enable those that work in charities’ supporter services teams to play a more active and strategic role in stewardship, fundraising and maximising the lifetime value of supporters.
The Forum will hold quarterly meetings featuring expert speakers, and commission research reports.
Issues likely to be addressed include:
* How do you keep abreast of best practice in an area that is still fledgling in many ways?
* What’s the most effective way to solve the supporter care issues that are bound to arise?
* How can you ensure that valuable supporters stay on board and engaged with your organisation’s aims?
* How do you garner the backing you need from within your organisation to deliver against a changing remit?
Tony Elischer, Managing Director of THINK Consulting Solutions explained why the company had established the forum. “This is an exciting time for supporter services” he said, “and also a challenging one.
“By bringing together supporter services leaders, we will facilitate the opportunity to learn, develop and excel in the company of peers and to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the performance of supporter services, at a critical time for the discipline and the sector.”
THINK has previously created two other specialist forums, one of which was for community fundraising. It is still operating after six years. Denise Davies, Head of Community Fundraising at the Motor Neurone Disease Association said: “The Community Forum is invaluable, both as a source of information and for support.”
