itforcharities release new software to do RFM data analysis for NFPs

itforcharities are announcing today the launch of JustRFM: a new, simple to use, low price but sophisticated RFM software package that enables charities and not-for-profit organisations to perform Recency, Frequency and Monetary Value calculations (RFM) on their donation data and other income. Thus, through such segmentation and analysis, charities can better target their donors, improve donor retention, increase response rates and reduce mailing costs.
The author of the package, Ivan Wainewright, explained more: “RFM has often been something which charities have wanted to do, but historically it has not been possible or it is overly-complex to do within many fundraising databases, or unfortunately some systems are not flexible enough. JustRFM fills that gap. And importantly, all a charity has to do is to extract their donation data out of their fundraising database and feed it directly into JustRFM as it is – there is no need to calculate the last donation, the total value of donations and so on as JustRFM does all that for the organisation.”
