Social media is free, good ideas are priceless!

Rachel Beer has posted recently that she hopes to see more case studies of digital campaigns and practice at the National Convention. At the same time over at the National Convention’s YouTube channel a video invitation to one of those sessions was posted.

Yes, good timing in terms of response to this particular point made elsewhere online, but also a very good example of how social media tools might be free and maybe the idea of sharing certain types of contain seem obvious but to execute the idea, takes a bit of effort and time. There is a lot of background work to be done to make those ideas happen – time, team, on-line platform, gradual building up of the audience etc. Yes, a lot of work! But it’s worth it!

I agree with Rachel, we need more examples and case studies – both of digital/social media engagement!
