Thirst for Better promotion offers £150,000 in grants

The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland is working with Deep RiverRock on their new ‘Thirst For Better’ campaign which is offering £150,000 to community groups.

Coca Cola-owned Deep RiverRock say they are tapping into the heartbeat of community groups across Ireland by enabling them to raise funding through an on pack promotion.

Participants just type in the code found on the inside of Deep RiverRock #ThirstForBetter labels and you donate 10p or 10 cents to a community group of your choice. The code can be typed into the official Thirst for Better website or alternatively can be entered into the Chatbot messenger on the Deep RiverRock Facebook page.

Up to 300 groups can register to avail from a total of £150,000 for the remainder of this year.

egistration can be completed on the official website. Community groups have already started raising money through the campaign since before the summer.

Examples of projects might include, but are not limited to:

Groups can raise a minimum of €250 or maximum of €10,000 through consumer donations.
