Fundraising training details announced

Details have been announced of a new fundraising training programme in Northern Ireland, organised by CO3, the third sector leadership organisation.
The nine-module programme covers a comprehensive range of fundraising topics, with modules scheduled from November 2017 through to March 2018:
- Planning a Fundraising Strategy – 17 November 2017
- Community fundraising – 7 December 2017
- Generating income from statutory sources – 14 December 2017
- Corporate Fundraising – 11 January 2018
- Raising income through social enterprise development – 18 January 2018
- Fundraising from Trusts and foundations – 8 February 2018
- Individual giving – 19 October 2017 to 22 February 2018
- Legacies (Will to Give) – 7 March 2018
- Big Gift Campaigns – 21 March 2018
The course has been developed for Trustees, Chief Executives and Senior Managers who want to deepen their expertise and widen the range of income generation sources available to them. The training will include sharing of experiences, lessons learnt and practical tips from experienced fundraisers, perspectives from a range of funders, and views from the corporate sector on developing compelling cases for strategic partnerships, funding and sponsorship.

Participants can register for all nine modules at a cost of £995, or for individual modules at a cost of £130 each. Each module is a full day of training and will take place at CO3’s offices, 34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB. Places are limited to a maximum of 15 per course.
