London & Capital Charitable Foundation raises £300,000

Howard Lake | 20 November 2010 | News

Staff at boutique wealth manager London & Capital have raised over £300,000 for the company’s charitable foundation in its first five years.
In its latest fundraising exercise, part of the Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Challenge, 37 staff took part in the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.
The foundation was set up in 2005 by Richard Leigh and Daniel Freedman, founders and joint Managing Directors of London & Capital,
which manages and advises on assets of more than $3bn for private, institutional and intermediary clients. The foundation aims to help to relieve sickness and poverty in children, on a worldwide basis.
The company’s staff voted for the children’s charities that should receive the latest funds raised. So £12,000 was shared between Hackney Quest, VSO and Indonesian Teacher Training.
