Scottish Charity Awards shortlist announced
The shortlisted entries for this year’s Scottish Charity Awards have been announced. The awards are open to charities, community groups and individuals from across Scotland.
Martin Sime, Chief Executive of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) which runs the awards, said that they had receive more entries to this year’s awards than ever before.
There is no specific award for fundraising, but shortlisted entries in the Partnership Award are:
* Barnardo’s Scotland and Southern Energy
* National Autistic Society Scotland and Harper Macleod LLP
* Children’s Hospice Association Scotland and Real Radio
* The Anthony Nolan Trust and Strathclyde Fire & Rescue
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Edinburgh’s Mansfield Traquair Centre on 10 June.
