Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) has helped secure more than £2.5 million worth of funding in recent months to help public bodies and charities in Liverpool.

LCVS’ specialist Capacity Building Team is made up of Funding Advisers and Development Officers who provide advice, information and support for organisations ranging from large local authorities to small community groups.

Ged Simpson, Funding Advisor at LCVS said: “Over the last few months in particular we have seen a spike in the demand for advice, with lots of different local organisations asking us to identify funding sources, review draft funding applications and look at longer term fund raising plans.”
