Radio station offers toys to disadvantaged children in West Yorkshire

Howard Lake | 21 November 2009 | News

Radio Aire & Magic 828’s Cash for Kids charity is inviting charities in West Yorkshire which work with disadvantaged children to apply to receive some of the toys it will collect from its annual Toy Appeal at Christmas.

Applications are invited from charities in the county that work with underprivileged children who are at risk of not receiving gifts at Christmas, or sick and disabled children. The children can be aged from birth to 17 years.

The radio station helpfully pointed out that neighbouring radio stations offer similar donations. Hallam’s Cash for Kids campaign distributes to children in South Yorkshire, and Viking’s Cash for Kids distributes to the Humber region.
