New website spreads message about poverty housing

Howard Lake | 4 December 2006 | News

International housing charity, Habitat for Humanity has launched a new website that enables people to build the Christmas Spirit and help combat poverty housing.

ECards4Homes.org.uk lets people select, personalise and send Christmas cards online and help support the Habitat for Humanity’s work at the same time.

By using our online Christmas card service people will be helping a family in need to build a simple, decent home by making a donation to Habitat for Humanity for each card that is ‘posted’. This use of new media not only enables corporate partners and others to donate, but also helps them to spread the word about our vital work and their partnership with us, said Helen Flower, Habitat for Humanity’s Marketing and New Media Manager
