Free data analysis offered to two Welsh charities

Howard Lake | 15 March 2017 | News

DataKind UK, the charity that provides pro bono data support to other charities, is offering to help two charities in Wales with a free data analysis over two days.
The charity is working on a project with the Office of National Statistics in Newport.
It is running a two-day DataDive, or hack day, in Newport in May 2017 at which a team of 20 analysts will work on the charities’ project to produce new insights.
DataKind - we love data
The two charities that will be selected to take part need to have good answers to questions such as:
• Who is more likely to have a positive outcome in your programme?
• Where is there most demand for your services?
• What are the emerging issues people need help with?
The event is not designed for analysing fundraising data.
What does a DataDive look like? Here are some recent examples.
Expressions of interest or further enquiries should be sent to Emma Prest, General Manager of DataKind UKby 17 March 2017.
