Jonathan Clark has been appointed as the new vice-chairman at the Tiny Lives Fund, a charity set up to raise funds for the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

A local business man, Clark has been involved in the charity for more than a year as a member of the committee board before taking on his new role.

Andrea Atkinson, Tiny Lives fundraising manager added: “I am confident that he will continue to help us with our fundraising efforts so that the 600 premature or ill newborn babies that are admitted to the Special Care Baby Unit each year from across the North East get the best possible chance in life.”
