A second edition of Redmond Mullin’s ‘Fundraising Strategy’ has been published by the Directory of Social Change.

The new expanded edition has been fully revised and updated to reflect changes in areas such as the tax regime and the National Lottery. It also draws on some recent examples, such as the NSPCC FULL STOP campaign, to clarify further the principles and process of strategy and demonstrate its place in fundraising campaigns.

In “Fundraising Strategy” Mullin explains the key elements of the rigorous strategic planning which is the key to a campaign achieving success and a viable return on investment.

The book discusses the concept of strategy and its relevance to non-profit bodies, outlines the planning process for designing and implementing the strategy, and features case studies of different strategies in different types and sizes of funding programmes.

In many ways this title forms a background to the entire DSC/Institute of Fundraising/CAF Fundraising Series. DSC say that it is “essential reading for all serious fundraisers.”

“Fundraising Strategy” costs £19.95 and is available from Directory of Social Change and from Amazon.co.uk. Find out how to order from the general section of the UK Fundraising Bookshop.
