Sarah Illingworth has been appointed as Director at Prime Executive, the agency which specialises in matching senior executives with assignments, trusteeships and senior appointments in not-for-profit
organisations.

She joins Prime Executive from CfA where she has spent the last seven years assisting charities in recruiting Chief Executives, Senior Management Team members, Chairs and Trustees.

Illingworth takes over from David Lale who founded Prime Executive as the senior appointments arm of Charity People in 1990.

She has over ten years of fundraising experience for national and international ‘umbrella’ charities including Crossroads, Kids’ Clubs Network (now 4Children) and Befrienders International (the Samaritans worldwide), following a career in corporate sales and marketing for Compaq.

Appropriately, she has extensive trustee experience herself, was previously a voluntary Director of the London Symphony Chorus and Treasurer of Lambeth Crossroads and is now a trustee of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and a Governor at the Godolphin & Latymer School in West London.
