Charities encouraged to enter 2007 National Training Awards

UK Skills is encouraging charity and community sector organisations that have achieved success through training to enter the 2007 National Training Awards.
These annual awards were set up 21 years ago to recognise and celebrate the organisations and the people who create success through training and personal development.
Individuals working in the charity and community sectors can enter as well if training led to exceptional results in their lives or businesses.

The National Training Awards are run on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills by UK Skills, a not-for-profit organisation which champions vocational skills and learning for work.
UK Skills Chief Executive Jacqui Henderson CBE said: “A National Training Award is one of the most respected and recognised accolades in the learning and skills sector. The standard of entries last year was extremely high, and I look forward to celebrating the benefits of some truly exceptional examples of training and development in 2007.”
Anyone and any organisation can enter the National Training Awards. Previous entrants include charities, individuals, multi-national companies, volunteers and the self-employed.
Entries for this year’s awards close on 27 April 2007.
