InMem launch offers charities online tribute funds product

An online tribute funds product for charities is launching at today’s IoF Fundraising Convention.
InMem has been created by WPN Chameleon’s digital products studio Addition. It allows charities to let their supporters set up tribute funds in memory of loved ones, by creating their own fund page on the InMem platform.
Charities receive a customisable web address, and can have their own branding and design applied to their InMem site. They can also customise their product with supplementary pages specific to their charity and in-memory proposition, and receive full ownership of all donor data.
Fund creators can also customise their pages, by selecting a theme, uploading photos and embedding YouTube or Vimeo videos, and adding memories and information. InMem also allows them to link to Facebook pages or groups, share fund pages on social media, link events to their pages, and customise donation thank you emails.
The first implementation of the product to go live is for Christian Aid under the name A Light in this World (main image).
Vicky Reeves, the agency’s deputy CEO and digital managing director, said:

“In Memory giving is growing every year across all kinds of charities – not just health charities but also those loved-in-life. Online spaces are increasingly being used by supporters to remember and celebrate the lives of people they have lost. InMem was designed to give charities a cost-effective, yet fully-featured product to harness this demand and build relationships with that donor base”.
