New look Professional Fundraising magazine

Professional Fundraising magazine has been rebranded and redesigned, returning from a fortnightly to a monthly publication with additional pages.
Plaza Publishing Ltd relaunched the magazine, “the only magazine for the fundraising community”, last night at a London drinks reception.
It points out that the fundraising sector “comprises 170,000 organisations and… generates more than £16 billion a year for the British economy.”
The redesign follows research by the Professional Fundraising (PF) team, including a reader survey, focus group and conversations with fundraisers.
Becky Slack, editor of PF magazine, said:

“While it is a much loved and respected magazine, our research showed us that we could be doing more to help our readers. The new and improved magazine will provide them with even more tools and information needed to unlock new revenue streams, yield better ROIs from their campaigns and boost donor income.”

The magazine is only available on subscription and the publishers have made a special offer to mark the relaunch with money off new subscriptions valid until mid-October.
Professional Fundraising magazine coverReturning to a monthly schedule, the magazine’s pagination has increased from 32 to 52 pages.
New content includes the Fundraising Surgery where four sector leaders offer advice on specific fundraising dilemmas; the PF Interview with high profile figures from the fundraising sector, the back-page Agent Provocateur, designed “to challenge assumptions and stimulate debate”; and Spotlight on, a regular 12 page special report providing readers with “the essential facts on key fundraising topics”, the first being new media.
The magazine’s website has also been redesigned to reflect the new look.
Some content has not made it into the redesign, so it is farewell to Raizer, the amusing back-page column.
The October issue of Professional Fundraising is out today.
