£220,000 watch to be auctioned for Practical Action
Bonhams is to sell a rare Patek Philippe wristwatch, donated anoymously to Practical Action (formerly ITDG), and it is expected to sell for at least £180,000 to £220,000.
The watch will be sold on the charity’s behalf at Bonhams’ Sale of Fine Watches at 101 New Bond Street, London, on 28 November 2006.
Bonhams say that the 18ct rose gold watch is the second most complicated wristwatch ever produced by Patek Philippe, and is highly sought-after by watch collectors and horologists.
