Blue Cross streams fundraising video online

Animal charity The Blue Cross is publishing a direct response video via its website using Vividas’ full-screen video streaming service.

To create the online video, full-screen video streaming technology specialists Vividas converted an existing Blue Cross advertisement that was originally designed for traditional broadcast channels.

Vividas say that their full-screen capability means that “when direct response fundraising films are shown online they do not lose any of the impact of the larger-screen TV broadcasts.”

Andrew Wilding, European Managing Director of Vividas, said: … Once the video has been created it makes sense to harness the internet to widen the reach and bring the viewer one step closer to the giving portal.

“However there is little point sticking a direct response video online if its impact is going to be lessened by appearing in a small window or because the user has to download specific viewing software. Vividas overcomes both these issues, and we have been able to give The Blue Cross a very powerful online fundraising channel.

The streamed video will be available via the Blue Cross website and tells the stories of neglected or abused household pets that have been helped by The Blue Cross.
