The creator of a mobile soap opera is creating the first downloadable calendar for mobile phones which will raise funds for cancer charities.

Charlie Salem, creator of mobile soap opera ‘Ms Cellulite’, has already secured a number of high profile photographers who will photograph people affected by cancer.

The calendar will be sold monthly, with the subjects choosing which charity will benefit from ‘their’ month’s sales.

The calendar will be distributed via the websites of media partners The Sun and ITV.

Charlie Salem told Digital Bulletin: “The advantage of having a downloadable calendar is that it cuts out administrative charges so all the money goes directly to the charities chosen by each person posing.”
