Morgan Stanley chooses Great Ormond Street Hospital for two-year partnership

Morgan Stanley has chosen Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity as its charity partner for the next two years. The decision follows a week-long poll by staff who had to choose from four charities.
Employees will now work to raise £750,000, which will be matched by the Morgan Stanley International Foundation, to raise a total of £1.5 million.
The funds raised will enable the creation of Morgan Stanley House, a new parent accommodation unit close to Great Ormond Street Hospital for the parents of children in intensive care, and in other wards across the hospital.
Colm Kelleher, President of Institutional Securities and CEO of Morgan Stanley International, said:
“Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity has a special place in our hearts, having been a charity partner of the firm previously when we helped fund the Morgan Stanley Clinical Building, which opened in 2012, and we are very excited to continue our support of this great organisation.”
