Sports Council to open new funding programme

Howard Lake | 3 November 2005 | News

The Sports Council for Northern Ireland plans to open a new challenge funding programme during November 2005, with a closing date December 2005. The new programme will invite applications from statutory organizations and ‘umbrella’ community/voluntary organizations with a multisport commitment.

The Sports Council particularly seeks to encourage applications that improve physical literacy and therefore participation in sport and physical activity among under-represented groups, especially people with a disability. Details will be available shortly to download from the Sports Council website.
