Selling books online for charity

Howard Lake | 6 March 1998 | News

Bookpages are promoting their branch manager scheme to fundraising charities. Charities can sell books related to their work via their Web site and link into the online catalogue, transaction and distribution system of Bookpages. For every book sold via the link on the charity’s site, Bookpages will pay the charity a 10% finder’s fee.

UK Fundraising has been selling fundraising guides and directories online in this way since February 1997 at the UK Fundraising Bookshop.

Bookpages became Amazon.co.uk in October 1998, and the UK Fundraising Bookshop was honoured to be profiled as a featured associate site.
