Small charity trading success online

Howard Lake | 28 June 1998 | News

Secure online trading isn’t just for the big charities. With low-cost products such as Actinic Catalog available, even small charities can test online trading without a large financial investment.

Pioneer Trust is a small Christian charity which is selling products online. It is taken “hundreds of pounds of orders each week” according to Chris Barling, managing director of Actinic Software in an article in Internet Business. This is despite the fact that the site has been promoted only using free Internet search engines. Barling says: “because of the low cost technology used, the site paid for itself within weeks of inception.”
