Low-cost airline EasyJet has raised £345,000 over the last year for children’s mobility charity Whizz-Kids.

Of this total, £287,531.55 was raised by an on-board charity collection campaign held on all the airline’s UK flights during August and September 2004.

Whizz-Kidz was the first charity selected under EasyJet’s new charity policy. The airline will select and support one charity each year.
