Macmillan appoints Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain to new fundraising campaign
Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain has been appointed by Macmillan Cancer Relief to test a new fundraising campaign for 2004.
The campaign will focus on the positive work done by Macmillan’s staff and in particular the role played by its well-known nurses.
Clara Avery, Direct Marketing Manager at Macmillan, said: “We’ve asked Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain to create a new fundraising campaign for us that will inform potential donors about the work we do for people living with cancer. Their experience and creative reputation played a significant part in our decision to appoint them.”

Nic Chamberlain, Managing Partner at Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain, said: “Macmillan has set us a tough challenge as their current execution works so well for them. However, we hope that we can create a concept that will bring a greater awareness of the work Macmillan does, as well as help them raise funds so they can continue to expand their work.”
Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain is the agency founded in July 2003 by former Proximity Chairman Chris Barraclough and two former BHWG colleagues, Steve Edwards and Nic Chamberlain. Their current client list includes the IDM, Scottish Widows, BP, EMAP and Shelter.
