CFN and ACF in strategic alliance

The Community Foundation Network (CFN) and the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) are to develop a strategic alliance following the recommendations of a feasibility study on working relationships funded by the Baring Foundation.
The two umbrella bodies are to discuss joint initiatives in the areas of promoting philanthropy; promoting good practice in grantmaking; development of joint policies on legislation, taxation and charitable giving; and the sharing of back-office systems.
