NCT to create online community for parents

The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) has announced an online community for parents and parents-to-be, sponsored by Kodak Easyshare, that will generate income.
NCT’s forthcoming online community will be called NCTParentsConnect, and is designed to allow NCT members to
track down and connect with old friends they have met through the NCT. It will allow members to create a secure online photo album of their children (whatever their age) quickly so they can share them special images with friends and relatives.

In many ways, the site sounds like a version of the popular friendsreunited.co.uk.
The community could be very large: six million parents have benefited from the services of the NCT over the last 45 years.
The site will raise funds, although it is not clear how this will be done. Presumably some of the services will be fee-based.
