Institute of Fundraising to offer e-mail briefings

The Institute of Fundraising is to offer e-mail briefings to members for the first time.
Chief Executive Lindsay Boswell writes in this month’s Update magazine that “you will be able to receive e-mail briefings on a wide range of specialist subjects. You may, for example, choose to learn what activities and events your local group is running. You may be interested to hear what is happening in the Trusts or IT Special Interest Group.”
Boswell promises that these briefings will be “short, factual and designed to give members a bite-sized piece of information with clear signposting on how to find out more.”

These briefings are the Institute’s first e-mail publications. The Institute of Fundraising launched its first Web site in 2000.
