The WH Kellogg Foundation has followed its report last year into e-philanthropy with another report. E-philanthropy v. 2.001 – from entrepreneurial adventure to online community is available for download at no charge.

The WH Kellogg Foundation has followed its report last year into e-philanthropy with another report. E-philanthropy v. 2.001 – from entrepreneurial adventure to online community is available for download at no charge.

The report has five sections: e-Philanthropy v2.001, an opening essay; The Emerging Structure and an Overview of the Sites; The Dynamics of Supply and Demand; Challenges and Opportunities; and Tools and Resources.

Great Fundraising Organizations book - available now

It doesn’t claim to be comprehensive – UK Fundraising doesn’t get a mention, after all – but its perspective is fairly short. Its overview begins: “Just 18 months ago, the online world for nonprofits and philanthropy was like a highway with no signs, interchanges, service centers, or welcome bureaus [sic].” Really? What about all those fine non-profit sector sites and resources that have been providing these services since 1994/95 and which UK Fundraising has been reporting on since then?
