Online fundraising platform MuslimGiving has launched a WhatsApp Giving feature to provide supporters with another way to contribute to charity campaigns.

The WhatsApp Giving feature uses power messaging technology that enables campaigns on the MuslimGiving platform to be integrated with the WhatsApp messaging service.

It means that charities and campaigners setting up campaigns on the MuslimGiving platform will now be able take to advantage of the integrated WhatsApp Giving tool, with the technology providing the ability to donate with WhatsApp via Apple and Google Pay.

Sohidul Choudhury, Chief Technology Officer of MuslimGiving said:

“By adopting the flexible APIs and built-in intelligence provided by our technology coupled with the global platform have further simplified the transaction journey. Removing the need to enter bank card details and personal information and instead provided a streamlined method and light-touch way of contributing to their chosen causes using the most widely used messaging app in the world.”
