Father’s Day charity cards that remember dads we have lost

This Father’s Day greetings card marketplace thortful.com is working with Cards to Heaven to remember fathers who are no longer with us. Sales will generate a donation to Life for a Life, creating community woodlands in the UK.
Thortful have created a special collection honouring these dads. “100% of the profits” from this collection will be donated to the charity.

“I thought about creating Cards to Heaven after losing my Dad. His loss was so painful, and I felt it so much during special times like birthdays, anniversaries and especially on Father’s Day. I wanted to write a card to my Dad and had nowhere to send it.
“It saddened me to send a card which I then put on a grave, to see it destroyed by the rain before being removed. I didn’t think I’d be alone feeling like this and Cards to Heaven was created. The Facebook page is a visual memorial to remember these very special Dads, where you can send a physical card and have the message to your Dad displayed.”
The new Starling Wood will be created by planting 8,000 trees, creating a bio-diverse woodland which will become a home for many species of birds and other wildlife as well a place of refuge for the local community. We don’t aim to stop there, as the project will go even further than just creating a new woodland.
Completion of the project “will lead to the raising of £90,000 that will be donated to hospices and health related organisations that support those in the community”.
