Heritage Lottery Fund NI targets specific areas for funding

The Heritage Lottery Fund in Northern Ireland (HLF) has identified particular areas which it has listed as a priority for funding. The areas are Fermanagh and Omagh, and Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon.

 

HLF has also provided a list of deadlines for two of its key grants programmes for 2017.

For Heritage Grants or Heritage Enterprise applications under £2 million first-round application and all supporting documents must be received by:

 

·         19 June 2017 for a decision in September 2017

 

·         4 September 2017 for a decision in December 2017

 

Meetings to decide on grant requests between £100,000 and £2 million, second-round submissions under Townscape Heritage and Landscape Partnerships, and first-round applications under the Grants for Places of Worship programme will take place on:

 

·         20 June 2017

 

·         20 September 2017

 

·         5 December 2017

 

Meanwhile, HLF in Northern Ireland last week announced a grant of nearly £5 million for Hillsborough Castle and its historic gardens which is owned by Historic Royal Palaces.
