Philanthropy Impact to hold women in philanthropy event
Philanthropy Impact is aiming to inspire and encourage more women to engage in strategic philanthropy with a special roundtable event on 30th March.
Redefining Philanthropy: A Woman’s Game? will see founder of The Shirley Foundation Dame Stephanie Shirley give the keynote speech, with a panel including Frances Prenn, founding partner of Scott Prenn LLP, and Sara Grote Cerrell, principal of Global Change Network. The event is being hosted by Aon UK, with Sion Cole, senior partner of Aon’s Global Investment Practice as Chair.
The Philanthropy Impact event will look at the following questions:
- What are some of the key opportunities and barriers to engage women of influence and wealth in strategic philanthropy and social investment?
- What collaborative opportunities exist to enhance the impact of philanthropic giving and service delivery?
- How much control do women have as decision makers in the philanthropy field?
- What is the role of professional wealth advisers in supporting their clients and their families?
The event starts at 5.30pm and includes a networking session. It is free for Philanthropy Impact members, and £60-£80 for non-members. Registration is online or by email before 27th March.
