WVS (Worldwide Veterinary Service) has been awarded the ‘Charity of the Year’ award at the 2016 Good Web Guide awards.
The criteria for entry are that sites must be original and engage visitors from the offset, with all entries judged on design, navigation and structure, content, ease of use, interactivity, and social media strategy.
This year’s judges, which included Hubbub.co.uk CEO William Reeve, founder and CEO of Toucan Rasha Khawaja, founder and MD of Zest Digital Alex Minchin and Genie Venture co-founder and CEO Ciaron Dunne, also who had very specific criteria, which included the importance of ‘unique customer journeys’ and ‘staying true to who you are.’
WVS beat two other shortlisted charities: Carers.org and Cancer Research UK, to win the charity category.
Alex Minchin, judge and founder and managing director of Zest Digital, said:

“WVS was a clear winner across all four criteria, particularly impressing with their imagery and ease of use that invites the user to discover more about their projects.”
