Zaffo offers online raffle fundraising services to charities

Howard Lake | 17 November 2016 | News

Digital External Lottery Manager specialist Capen has launched Zaffo to help charities and good causes fundraise with online raffles. The site is in beta at present but is already being used by charities.
Zaffo can be used by any charitable organisation to create online raffles, sell tickets and manage campaigns. It can even be used by organisations which already run traditional paper raffles: they can combine their offline sales with online sales generated via Zaffo.
Capen is encouraging charities to try out the new site by offering an additional bonus raffle prize of a spa break for two. Charities can flag up this incentive to their supporters: anyone who supports another organisation on Zaffo.com before 31 December 2016 is automatically entered into the bonus prize draw.

Christmas incentive for Zaffo users

Capen is inviting voluntary organisations to use Zaffo in the run-up to Christmas, including taking advantage of Giving Tuesday on 29 November. It would like charities to help shape the service while it is in beta.
To sign up to the service, charities will need a Small Society Lottery Licence from their Local Authority.
Charities that are already running raffles on Zaffo include The Royal Institution of Great Britain, Sheffield Hospitals Charity and Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.

There are no set-up costs to register and operate a raffle on Zaffo. The company passes 90% of ticket proceeds to the charity good cause.
