Wrap Up London launches 2016 campaign for coats
The sixth annual Wrap Up London takes place this week, asking Londoners to donate their unwanted coats to help people in need.
Organised by Hands On London, in partnership with William Blair, this year’s target is 15,000 coats and jackets, which will be sorted and graded, and then given to 110 organisations, which help a range of people including the homeless, elderly, refugees, women who have fled domestic violence and children in poverty.
Coats can be donated at 15 locations across the capital including London Underground stations and Safestores. Coat collections begin on 7th, 8th and 9th November from 7am-11am, at Kings Cross, Victoria, Waterloo, Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Highbury & Islington, Euston, Liverpool Street, and the Broadgate Centre near Liverpool Street station, as well as Safestores on Pentonville Road, Clapham North, Notting Hill, and Clarendon Road.

Last year, more than 10,000 were collected at London Underground stations, with Victoria station collecting the most, followed by Canary Wharf.
