Dogs Trust chooses 18 Feet & Rising as creative agency
Dog welfare charity Dogs Trust has appointed 18 Feet & Rising as its lead creative agency. It will handle a £6 million account.
The London-based agency, whose office dog attended the pitch to the charity, is tasked with changing the perception of rescue dogs and driving relevant visitors to the 20 Dogs Trust centres around the UK.
Last year the charity cared for around 17,000 dogs alone. 18 Feet & Rising is being asked to galvanise the nation’s dog lovers to rehome one of the 1,400 stray and abandoned dogs in their care at any one time.
Nick Daniel at Dogs Trust said:
“The trend in people buying dogs rather than rehoming a rescue dog has been growing for years; it’s a factor of the digital age. The 18 Feet and Rising team, supported by Moose their office dog, instantly understood the challenge we face to overcome this and we’re really excited to see how they can help us drive new potential owners to our rehoming centres for the thousands of dogs in our care.’’
