People’s Postcode Lottery £2.5m Dream Fund opens for applications

The People’s Postcode Lottery Dream Fund has opened for applications, and is encouraging charities and community groups across Great Britain to work together and apply to finance their dream project.
Now in its seventh year, the 2017 Dream Fund is the biggest to date, awarding a total £2.5m. It is open for applications until 15th September 2016.
Postcode Dream Trust is encouraging applications from registered charities and community organisations in Scotland, England or Wales for up to £1,000,000 to deliver a new and innovative project up to 24 months in length that meets one or more of the following funding themes:
- Early child development
- Helping refugees in the community
- Conserving the marine environment
- Connecting people with the natural world
- Engaging people with arts, culture and heritage
To qualify for funding, at least two complimentary organisations must work in partnership to deliver their project. Funding from the scheme will be offered over two years from 2017, and the lead partner’s annual income must be at least three times the amount applied for.
Winners of the Dream Fund will be announced in January 2017.
