New Fundraising Excellence Award for cultural and heritage sectors

This year’s Arts & Business Scotland Awards include a new category for Fundraising Excellence, to recognise outstanding fundraisers in the cultural and heritage sectors.
The Fundraising Excellence Award will recognise an individual or team which has “made a significant contribution to the fundraising efforts of an arts, cultural or heritage organisation in Scotland”.
The award is open fundraising professionals, volunteers or board members who have either:

Nominations for all the categories in the 30th Arts & Business Scotland Annual Awards are now open.
Arts & Business Scotland’s Chief Executive David Watt said:

“Not only are we searching for the most innovative and creative partnerships from the business and cultural sectors but this year we are seeking to recognise a fundraiser or team of fundraisers which has outperformed others in the cultural and heritage sectors.”

Other award categories include Enterprising Museum of the Year and Business Creativity Award, which was introduced for the first time last year and awarded to Caledonian MacBrayne.

 
The awards will be announced in Glasgow in March 2017.
 
Nominations for the 30th Arts & Business Scotland Annual Awards are open from now until midnight on 30th September and the shortlist will be announced in November.
